Aiden and Auntie Adventures

I didn't mention that I successfully had my first babysitting adventure with sweet Aiden! I definitly scored some cool Auntie points and we had soo much fun... however, I must say, Jenny IS a busy girl. Aiden's mama and dada made sure he was just waking up from his nap when they left :) Auntie mae was a little tired of playing the "chase Aiden around the coffee table game" by the time Mama came home. I found that to be the game of choice, as Aiden squealed and laughed his head off while making laps around the coffee table. He also told me all about his balloon and we discovered that the beach boys didn't make for a good dance party. I think he was enjoying himself since he didn't have to eat his beans and got to play with Pia's swanky cell phone all afternoon.

Dear Mrs. Poppins

Dear Mary Poppins, I need your help! I have seen your expertise in fitting a floor lamp in a suitcase and unpacking a wall mirror from a small duffle. So, I was wondering if you could assist me in fitting my apartment into a few boxes. I was in awe of it when I was 5 but now that I am grown, my husband and I are in need of your secret. Lids are not fitting on containers and tape is simply not holding things in. If you neglect my plea I will begin to have second thoughts... I am already questioning your spoon full of sugar philosophy as my cavity count continues to increase. Kindly respond as soon as you can; I would like to be able to fit my dresser in my pocket by Friday. Sincerely, A. Mae Cousin PS tell the penguins that I am working on my steps. View this link to see Mrs. Poppins skill that I am seeking.

Cabo is overrated.

SPRIIIIINNNGGG BREAK! Yesterday I had to dust off my books and try to remember what we were doing in class 10 days ago....but I was glad to get back on a schedule, especially since being busy gets my mind of missing hubby love.
This spring break I traded in my bikini and surfboard for some sweats and my toyota. I feel a little like I spent most of my spring break driving around but all of the destinations were worth it. Pia and I went up to Minneapolis so I could kiss on Mr. Cousin and Pia could see ah' hem... another.. Mr. Cousin... :) While the boys worked Pia and I got pretty cozy with the GPS and developed some road rage. We also got to catch the end of the St. Pattys day parade downtown... however.. the 100 percent filipino was the only one who had green to wear.
Although I didn't come back with a tan I consider my week pretty successful.. especially since I finished the 3rd twlight book ;) Also I got to spend time with my husband, my best friend, my sister/brother/Aiden baby, my parents, my in-laws... to some it up.. all the important people.
Pia, Jonny, Will and I went to a "dueling piano lounge" called The Shout House. It was so much fun and I suggest Minneapolis locals to try it out. Here are some pics...
Jonny and Pia Playing the piano. The boys disappeared and came back with roses. How sweet.

You don't lose.. you gain

This is my first "married life" blog.. The girl gains a husband, the boy gains a wife, the in-laws gain a child, the couple gains siblings, etc. and by etc. I mean.. BILLS. The couple gains bills. I'm suddenly getting more mail! I love mail.. but when they are long and narrow envelopes it means trouble. I used to get my new checks out just to admire the heading: William R. Cousin and Ashley Mae Cousin... now I'm getting it out for all different reasons and let me tell you, it's not near as exciting. Where are these people coming from? Student loans, the tax man, the truck, blah blah blah. BUT they only mean that we have a good vehicle, Will graduated, and I have enjoyed many relaxing hours watching cable... did you ever imagine there was a bright side to bills?

... Oh where have you been charming Billy?

Someone bring back my husband! I miss him! I'm trying not to complain too much because I know there are wives that can't even call there husbands very much. Since I can talk to him hourly it's hard to justify my complaints. BUT, nights are getting long, but I'm trying to keep busy and out of the empty apartment most of the day. Lots of exciting things have been filling my husband-missing time... - I got my hair evened out today. I cut it myself last week and although the hair lady was a little impressed it was looking a little odd once I stopped putting it up... I knew it was going to be a good day when she told me, "I can even out the layers but when you put it up you might have to use bobby pins" YES! Someone who appreciates the truly genius invention as much as I! -Pia and I tried to see how many technologies we could talk on at one time. We successfully accomplished the task by chatting through 5 portals: E-mail, facebook chat, gmail chat, cell-phone texting, and wall-posts. After I started going crazy and unplugged myself, I called her on the tele. -I returned a few wedding presents (doubles and such) which resulted in more giftcards. Will and I now have enough target giftcards to buy the entire corporation. My week really hasn't been THAT bad but I do miss my sweet husband! Only one more day and I will get to travel to see him. Until then I have a test coming up and I trust my professors will help keep me busy. :)
