Only in Elementary Ed....

Only in Elementary Ed...

  • Do you have to wake up at the crack of dawn to make a mask out of construction paper.
  • does your extra credit assignment include writing a "piggy back" jiggle .
  • is your money spent on scrapbooking materials to strive for additional points.
  • does your print fund run out from printing lesson plans for resource notebooks you will never look at
  • you look forward to garage sales for cheap "manipulatives".
  • are you stressed because your to-do list is long, time consuming, and mostly busy work.
  • are you guilty because Bio majors have so much more to complain about.
  • do you get to continue your current novel in class.
  • do you watch videos of Eric Carle painting paper.
  • do you have back up work in your bag so you don't die of boredom during the video of Eric Carle painting paper.
  • do you learn to appreciate the UNI students sitting with five 3-year olds, patiently on the grass, so they can stare at the construction machines at work.
  • do you go through all your children's books to get ideas for the next five projects.
  • does a test seem completely out of the norm.
  • does your nephew and neices become less family and more subjects for projects.
Only in Elementary Ed. do you try your darn hardest to maintain your cool because you probably ARE learning something in these classes.
